Best Buy - Marine Speakers

These things are amazing. Good full range. Lightweight on a low base, but that's just part of a coaxial speaker. Great high bass. I'm pushing 150rms on 4 of them and it sounds amazing.

These speakers rock!

Not only do these speakers look fantastic, they deliver superb sound quality too! The clarity of the voice is amazing with deep bass! I connected these speakers to the Fusion amp and they match perfectly!

Excellent speakers for $

4 of these installed on my boat. They sound great and the LED lights are pretty cool, I bought a wireless remote to control them. I've covered them all with a silicone bead but they haven't been splashed or watered yet so I can't comment on durability yet. The only problem was that the instructions said the mounting hole should be 6 9/16 inches, but I used a 6 5/8 hole saw and still had to cut the inside of the holes to make the speakers fit. All in all good speakers for the money.

Excellent midrange driver, not very treble-heavy.

I expected a better mid to high range from them. An excellent midrange driver, but its high frequencies are mostly drowned out by a solid midrange. I replaced 6.5s. I had this 8 at ear level on the back of my boat and I regret it. Great speaker but make sure to add them to your system to add midrange. Don't replace your treble section with it like I thought as it has a tweeter that covers the treble range. . If I could do it again, I'd lower that 8 and leave my 6.5 at ear level.

Sounds great, inconsistent quality/durability

I have now bought 2 sets of these speakers. Great sound and great looks, especially with the multi-colored grills. The LED lights are also a great touch. BUT the reason I bought 2 sets is that the first single speaker set just stopped working after less than 10 uses so I bought another set. Now, after less than 5 uses, another speaker is playing. I used marine wiring and went to a professional installer who said they were defective speakers. Strongly disappointed. Luckily I still have a good…
