Suitable for girls over 8 years old

My daughter loves this dress and has since she got it. it suits her. It's not too tight in any area and is a good length. She has a big butt and it fits well enough to hide her instead of being tight. It flows and she likes to spin in it. I wouldn't think it's suitable for school just because it's too long to walk and play in. It's probably good for weekends, special occasions, or whatever. It doesn't look messy and it's a clean, freshly striped skirt that's not too bulky. I would still suggest

This is a very cute skirt. Bought for my 9 year old granddaughter. Your waist is a little big. But it is very thin and kept straight. Most of her dresses should be pulled up at the waist. But she loves skirts with ruffles and also long skirts. So it was perfect for her. There are nice pockets on the front. She liked them. She can store her mask in one! The bottom hem puckers a bit. My daughter is under 4ft and about 45lbs and it's a bit big but fits and she will be able to wear it for a good year or more. Super cute skirt and looks well tailored.

Nice and comfortable

A word. bags! good for me

This skirt runs true to size. The fabric is soft and the length of the skirt is perfect, but the best thing about this skirt is that it has 2 front pockets! My 6 year old loves bags.

Strange shape: my review

I have 2 daughters who can wear a size 10. None of them fit. Only the shape is strange. 2 large pockets bulge slightly and resemble apron pockets. The ruffle is square and chunky. It was very unflattering on both of them, and they are both slim and athletically built. Thumbs down for the skirt :(

There are pockets! - my new rating

They even went to the trouble of aligning the stripes for the pockets and the rest of the skirt. This is a plain stretch cotton jersey with ruffles and an elastic waistband. Should pair perfectly with a red or white t-shirt or polo. I would or wouldn't wear it with leggings or shorts but it's a cute little skirt. My grand niece loves it easy to wash and dry.

This maxi skirt fits a size 7/8 as expected. My daughter is a bit tall so she was a bit short but that was to be expected. The bags were a fun bonus! It fits true to size and the elastic is very forgiving. I liked that the ruffle in the running skirt gives extra room.

Good quality. More than 8 than 10.

It is so sweet! I would say it fits an 8 more than a 10 because the waist is a little tight and it's a little shorter than it should be for a 10. The pockets are a really nice touch. It looks like a good quality fabric and should be able to take some wear and tear. This is a really adorable skirt and I highly recommend it!

Sweet and sweet and legal 8 years old!

I got a 7/8 for my 8 year old daughter who wears a size 6/7 and it fits her perfectly. She is very active and loves to run outside. She said it was very convenient. She loves that the thin detail stretches at the bottom. So when you play and stretch your legs, it stretches with you. That's a great skirt!

I ordered a red and white striped maxi skirt from Kid Nation Girls for my 8 year old girl. Most of her clothes are a size 8, but she can wear a size 10 if she runs small. I ordered size L (8/10) and it fits her perfectly. She loves the color and style and says it's not too tight around the waist. I washed it (gentle) according to the care instructions and am happy to report that the red has not faded into white streaks. Time will tell how well it will hold up as she has only worn it once so…
