🔧 Simple Installation: KidCo K13 Universal Gate Installation Kit Review

We got one of these new roller shutters for our stair case but didn't know how to safely install it until we found this one! It was just what we needed to install our gate without damaging the stair railing. Our gates were very easy to install and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install a damage free gate!

Unfortunately we lost the hardware for one of our Kidco gates and this K13 universal gate installation kit does not meet those needs. Unfortunately we don't have bolts/hinges on one side and curved latches on the other. We couldn't find any replacement parts and were hoping they might be included in this kit. There is no such happiness. We have them for all but one of our goals. This kit comes in handy when you are ready to install and don't want to drill the railing. However, this only applies

Was a little tricky to install depending on the type of bracket used. One of the blocks cracked trying to screw it to the plate. The kit consisted of two parts that had to be put together. The zip ties were the best part of the set as they really held the panel in place and didn't bother moving it around with the baby.
