Books on hand

The bookcase looks very good and has held up a decent weight so far. This allows my son to stand up at the age of two and have everything right in front of him and within reach. on the other hand. Finally, I wish the lamination adhered a little better. There are a few spots where it is not fully bonded.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

Save on children's furniture

I usually read reviews before I buy. I made a HUGE mistake by NOT even doing it! Raven, you failed me. It wasn't just a catastrophe that was created! Pressed wood is cheap. Glued-in laminate stickers are peeling off. The screws broke immediately. I have a crappy product that is not assembled properly. I have entrusted almost all my purchases to you, but this is a waste of money, time and simply put, a piece of garbage! Please sell better products for the love of Jezebel!

Shelf rails fully offset/tilted

Having looked forward to the arrival of this bookshelf, we immediately assembled it and the rails are COMPLETELY misaligned :( They come to the floor, the pockets are obviously tilted (1 , 5" on the bottom rail). Unfortunately, this isn't something you can tell when you open the box. It wasn't noticeable until the item was fully assembled. Now we need to take it apart and try to put it back in the box Hopefully the replacement will line up correctly but it was a hassle to…

Beautiful sturdy bookshelf

Excellent bookshelf! This is the perfect height for my 2 year old. He likes to drag books over there for me to read to him. You definitely need 2 people for assembly; although it is simple and relatively easy. Difficult to grip and hold the bars straight while inserting them. Also, you need to hold it a little so that it doesn't turn while screwing. The rest turned out beautifully. Love the color although it had a few scratches and the espresso color is very easy to remove just by removing the…

Um if you're looking for an imperfect children's book here it is

I wanted something kid friendly to store all of my 1 year old's books. My husband assembled it and he said it was a pain as the holes didn't line up. When everything was done, it became apparent that the left side of the bags were further away from the right, making the shelf look crooked. Every time I come by I want to straighten the shelf but I realize they are actually crooked dowel holes and there's nothing we can do to fix it. is it kid friendly Yes. It holds books well, although small…

Difficult to assemble but worth the time, especially for the price.

My SO put it together. We almost sent it back. He said the holes were wrong and he didn't line up. I've searched online and haven't found anything with canvas for a comparable price. So I decided to give him another chance. Looking at the first screw and rod, I held it straight and didn't fully tighten it. I assembled all the screws and rods together and only turned halfway. Then he came back and finished the fucking. You have to make sure it's straight or the screws don't go all the way in…

Basically great! best kids furniture

This book stand is 97.5% good. I had a bit of an issue with some of the bars/ends coming up with the screws so two of them didn't go all the way in on one side, but it still seems pretty solid. Be careful when assembling as some are much harder to tighten by hand than others and unfortunately too delicate for use with a power drill. Luckily, by the time all was said and done, the one in the photo was halfway advanced. fit a lot more than that. I was afraid it would take two of these to fit them

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Annoying

Horror, Horror, Horror! I asked my son-in-law to put the shelf together for Christmas but he noticed some pretty bad scratches and a few small spots where the laminate had chipped (almost like some other poor guy trying to put it back together!). almost decided to then return it as it seemed almost $40 too much for the inferior product it turned out to be. However, I'm no snob - I've collected many Chinese-made trash shelves (from Walmart, Target, IKEA, etc.) that have served my purposes…
