It is loved by children from 70 to 3 years old!

We were thrilled and so was our 3-year-old great-grandson. It was a Christmas present for him. It's the 2nd one for us. We have one at home, it's 9 years old, it was a gift for a grandson and it's still working like the first day. It was played by family members between the ages of 70 and 3. It's a hit with everything it picks up. Any girl or boy will love it!

Reliable little designs that raise questions

Our boys saw these at the local kids science museum and loved them. They aren't played all the time, but both boys (8 and 13) have spoken at length about how each of them moves and why. They each have their own mechanism and way of moving, so they're great for getting kids thinking about these things. One looked at them from a robotics perspective, while the other compared them to insects, subjects both had recently studied. The toys look fragile, but for the most part they're made out of…

Negative reviews are true.

I actually love these little Kikkerland animals. But I'm afraid the bad reviews for this product are true. It looks like there are two problems. First, the clockwork motor isn't powerful enough to power the Le Pinch on a flat surface, let alone climb over a small object. I've tried different finishes to see if that's the problem, but the result was the same. Second, the weight is so heavy that the front set of legs just twists and tries to get traction while the rear set effectively locks it in

Love it! good for novelty and fun toys

I was looking for unusual toys that could only be found in "Santa's workshop". I've bought several of these little clockwork robots and they've been a huge hit. Two years later the kids are still playing with it, although flint sparks do wear out after so much play in the first 6 months or so. The husband replaced them with new flints (lighter kind) but inserting them into the holes was NOT easy and required a bit of determination. I would always buy more of these and they make a great mail…

Tiny Clockwork Toy - Novelty & Gag Toys

This is the smallest and simplest clockwork toy I have ever seen. The mechanical parts are amazingly simple: three gears, a spring, a regulator and a key. Wind it up and it takes off, charging forward on its four tiny legs and then leveling off at a more reasonable pace. (Think of it as Bonga's hyperactive little sister.) He only walks about a foot before exhausting himself, but that's forgivable given his size. And remember, this thing is tiny. If you don't count the key, you only get about an

Big factory with spooky traffic!

Le Pinch is my second Kikkerland toy and I have to say based on the reviews I've read I wasn't expecting too much. Fortunately, the toy far exceeds my low expectations. I really like how the toy squirms as it crawls on the surface. He looks so much like a real worm (although MXYKIKKER is probably scarier with his antennae!). There are two possible problems with the toy. Because the bits may have residual stress, I first noticed that the worm's body was slightly deformed upon arrival. I squeezed
