Really works - body and finish

Was easy to apply with a roller and razor blade. There was enough material for two front doors, a trunk lid and a parcel shelf. Really helped dampen bass vibrations in application areas. Make sure you only apply to large, flat areas to save on material. Areas with fillets and reinforcement do not need to be edited.

Big job, a little tiring

Cut out and "dry" before removing the backing. Once dropped, it will never come off again. Adhesion is excellent. The use of roles is an absolute must. Buy at least 3 sizes. You'll be glad you did. 80 mil is fine. If $$$ allows, the thicker the better. It's a big job, for the whole day or longer.

KillMat Kills Everything

This stuff just works. It doesn't come off after turning it on (used a heat gun to make sure it was nice and tacky when I put it on). This material prevents EVERYTHING from rattling and pushes all the sound forward. It worked so well in the trunk, back deck, and back seats that I ended up putting it on the floorboards, doors, and wherever I could. I have no street noise, my audio system sounds fantastic and most importantly, I don't fart. I'd say I'd buy it again, but I don't have to - so I'll…

Bought for my dishwasher. This is a game changer!

Bought a new home and was not impressed with the dishwasher provided by the contractor. It sounded like someone was hosing down corrugated aluminum while they worked. I've had good luck with this stuff in my car so I decided to try it in the dishwasher. It is very good. That made it as quiet as any dishwasher I've ever heard. Watching the teardown video also made me realize how much of a scam fancy dishwashers are. I had to dismantle the door, which is very easy. If you're looking to save a few

Near perfect coverage

Installing this on the underside of my 1979 Camaro as an extra muffler. On top of this Kilmat lay the usual substrate, then the carpet. 20 sq feet would be ideal, but this 18 sq. Feet was pretty close to covering the whole floor. I cut it off leaving enough room for the seat bolts. The entire transmission tunnel is covered and cut around the shifter. Wearing gloves is a good idea, not latex but something thicker like mechanic's gloves. The edges of the foil underlay easily cut the meat…

Great adhesion. Excellent quality. Highly recommended.

I used this on my brother's Scion xB when he got new speakers for the whole car and there was a lot of rattling from the tailgate and all the doors. I've applied this to his rear wheel arches, tailgate and all four doors and it makes a world of difference. No rattling. Stereo sounds amazing. It even makes light, old, "cheap" doors sound a new car sound when you close them. i love this stuff I've cleaned each sheet metal section with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel, cut the material with a…

Enjoy driving on the road, not noise from the street in your car

I am in the process of updating the audio system in my (new to me) 2009 Acura RDX. Six out of ten factory-installed speakers have seen better days. Some of them had their voice coils removed and found in driver and passenger, front and rear doors. You Tube videos provide a lot of useful information about what steps you need to take to improve the sound quality of your car stereo. Of course, replacing the speakers with some quality aftermarket models is the obvious first choice. I found that…
