👑 King Kooker 8" Plastic Cooking Oil Funnel: Convenient and Durable Filter Included Review

Ideal for reusing your oil. I have used it with paper filters and after filtering the oil was clear and almost new looking. The oil was pretty coarse in the fryer. Some complain that it melts. oh plastic! Of course, if you pour boiling hot oil into it, it will melt. I used it at around 110 degrees (to get the oil flowing better) and everything was fine.

If you need this to work with the filter, you're out of luck. It's like 2 different companies developing it over the phone. The filter will pop out of its seat in the funnel once you release the pressure after installation. Bad design and/or execution. All the negative reviews mentioning this were older so I figured maybe the problem was solved.; I'm so stupid.

This is a good, well-made funnel, but part of the filter is not good. It looks and feels like the screen should snap and stay in place, but in the end it just sits in the hole. The main reason I got this funnel was to filter my fryer oil, but the strainer popped out and what I'm trying to filter just goes into the oil because the strainer goes crooked. Given the traditional quality of King Kooker products, I am very disappointed.

Purchased fryer oil funnel - The strainer does not stand still. This is a very strong funnel and the strainer looks perfect for sifting oil but hasn't been used as the strainer wouldn't stay inside and popped out all the time! It doesn't stay longer than a few seconds. If you need a screen for work, choose a different one. Very sad because it looks like everything would have worked very well if it hadn't happened. Come on King Cooker fix it!

I've read other reviews and a lot of people say the screen doesn't stay in place. Mine fits pretty well but I haven't used it when filling oil so can't comment on that. I use this with Royal Premium Oil Filters and they work great! I wouldn't use a strainer because it doesn't filter oil. My oil looks slightly cloudy but is still completely free of food particles. It's just a very large funnel that's great for pumping oil. Pretty simple and it works.

The funnel itself is very large and appears to be very strong. A nice feature is that it has 3 lugs on the small part of the funnel that help create an air gap between the funnel and the container it is inserted into to ensure proper flow (nice!). It also has a few small ridges on the inside of the top cone, but they don't seem to be as useful as the ridges on the outside of the bottom one.
