I have recently purchased white terry towels with an orange and gold stripe and this item was found as an alternative to my search for the blue stripe. So I bought these too. Big mistake: the stripes aren't solid, they're thin, and they're not even white. You are dirty! I even blea them to see if they lighten up but no luck. I leave them in the garage to clean. They are brand new and not even suitable for use in the kitchen. They are even grayer than in the photo.

They are thin and dirty gray as another reviewer said. In fact, even worse than the ones I previously bought with the orange stripe. I will give it to my husband for the garage. I washed them thinking they might get whiter but they didn't. They look worn, not new. Very disappointed but I have already washed them. You get what you pay for!
