High quality knife set. Very impressive.

I had a set of expensive Henkels. Genuine Henckels, not cheap Henckels International. They are rusty. Bought a set of Wüstof knives. $175 for 8. They were rusty and cheap looking. Got rid of them and bought these KitchenAid knives and am very happy. They look great, feel great and cut just as well as expensive Henckels and Wüstof knives. Plus, they're MUCH cheaper and dishwasher safe.

Don't buy these knives.

I've been tricked into thinking by the KitchenAid brand that they should be premium because they have that name. Not right. It's been five months, rarely used, and they're rusting from the inside out through tiny holes in the stainless steel. (Like others I've had) A manufacturing defect because the stainless steel coating is too thin and water can eventually get into the blade where rust starts, comes out and stains the outside of the blade and this goes on forever. Cheap, cheap, cheap! I want

Easy to sharpen and affordable KitchenAid Classic forged knives.

Dishwasher safe, easy to sharpen and great value KitchenAid Classic forged knives are one of my favorites for everyday use when I don't want to hand wash. This chef's knife is heavily used and has withstood many trips in the dishwasher. It can also be sharpened wonderfully. I like it so much I've started replacing the rest of my cheap knives with this line. I also have steak knives and a utility knife and both are excellent.

Many people buy this to wash dishes as opposed to models with separate handles. However, remember that the molded handle has a completely different tension setting. The importance of how and where you apply pressure to the knife varies. Being used to knives with wooden/rubber/plastic handles, I broke my knife into two equal pieces. In addition, washing knives in dishwater not only ruins the handle, no matter what it is made of, but more importantly the blade. due to the high chemical content of

The best steak knives

I am very happy with my KitchenAid steak knives. These are the best steak knives I have ever owned, I couldn't find a better knife for a higher price! I waited until I used the knives and washed them in the dishwasher a few times before commenting. I love the handling of these beautiful knives that suit almost any setting. The knife easily cuts any type of meat without tearing it. My grandkids have no problem keeping them or using them to cut whatever type of meat we have and we eat meat almost
