Fixing a dangling funnel

We had the same problem. These clips can be found in each of Max's offices, keeping him pinned down. Slide them over the 3 small guide pins and slide them just under the rim of the bowl. Problem solved.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Can fits in 4.5 liter bowl

Don't waste your money Not suitable for 4.5 liter bowl. Revain replaced the first one I bought and the second one was a little smaller but didn't fit either. Every time I started the blender, the protective screen fell off the bowl. Obviously they come in different sizes but all the boxes have the same #.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Suitable for old model K45SS!

I have a crazy old, so old KitchenAid K45SS mixer, but I needed a new protection shield and didn't think I could find one. This one doesn't look quite like the original from my model but it fits really well so I'm very happy with it. That looks a little bit, but it's definitely better than without a sign, that saves cleaning!

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Protection

Dirt on the blender, not the counter, which is worse!

Doesn't seem to fit in my 5 liter blender, took me ages to get it back in place. Once in place, he'll dump everything on the blender instead of messing up my counter. There weren't any instructions so I think I might have used it wrong, but it seems pretty easy. Used it once for flour and once for liquid and that was it for my use.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Negative impression

The spout is big but the hole is too big

I don't like this sign at all. Anything I add likes to come out of a giant hole. Isn't that why I bought the sign in the first place? I didn't know there was another option until I visited my sister and her blender guard has a removable spout and no hole so nothing spills out. It has a really nice high spout, so if they covered the hole it would probably be great.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Overpriced but better than nothing

Works and fits well. I was concerned about this product based on previous reviews, but now I'm glad I decided to purchase it. I started baking homemade bread and the flour kept running out. This shield helped a lot. The fit was perfect. Doesn't "snip" but just stays on top of the bowl. I think the little lip on the edges could have been a bit longer so it doesn't move when hit. But the screen stayed in place for 6 minutes of kneading my bread dough. I definitely think this shield is overrated.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Several design flaws that do not prevent flour overflow.

Kitchen Aid must have hired engineers from Team B to do this The shield is loose on the bowl and is only held in place by gravity. The locking tabs offer no resistance when removing the screen. Also, the outer flange inexplicably doesn't fit under the flour chute. Look at the photo and note the gap between the flour chute and the rim of the bowl. As a result, the flour protection is missing exactly where it is needed most. The end result, as you'd expect, is flour all over the place.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Super disappointed item for Small Appliance Parts & Accessories

Many moons ago, in the early 90's when I was a kid, my mom got a food processor as a Christmas present. It had a strainer that snapped onto the bowl so you could just pour ingredients into the bowl without having to turn off the blender and risk sucking the measuring cup into the bowl if you flew too close to the sun. Fast forward to 2018. Now I have my own kitchen mixer and I've found that baking just doesn't work as well if there isn't an easy way to pour the food into the bowl. So I go to…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
