I bought this because it peels, slices and cores apples. I make 10 pounds of apples in about 15 minutes. Prepare homemade applesauce for children. Great for that. The only thing I complain about is that peeling the apple removes too much of the apple.

Great made sweet potato pasta first night was so easy to use and despite other comments I attached a blade and it wasn't hard to do it undress . Like other users, it has also been found that the best way to attach the product to the stick is to attach it to the mixer part first. It just spins, like all mixer paddle attachments. Beautiful in principle. but the attachment of the MAIN part of the nozzle (the skewer that pushes and rotates the fruit or veg to the machine) is flimsy plastic: it gave after ONE veg, so now instead of rotating the veg to allow the blade to cut a spiral, instead it swings it and makes a big hole in the base. So basically the whole prefix was only good for ONE very first zucchini, and then it became useless!

I had high hopes for this as the KitchenAid accessories performed well. No spiralizer. As another reviewer pointed out, it just doesn't get along with beets and turnips. It looks like the blade is creating too much friction or maybe not sharp enough causing the tooth to unwrap. I've tried half a dozen beets and turnips, all with the same result.
