I love kitchen gadgets so I love these things. This product is great for something like peanut butter - I can crush food in a container to remove air pockets and get an accurate measure. With more liquid foods like molasses, the edge seal is too weak, so it leaks a bit at the edge. Slightly messier, needs a little more cleaning than similar products I've used before.

This is the worst quality kitchen product I have ever purchased. The design idea is solid and it worked great for honey. I read that some people had problems with the ink tearing off. I've made sure to hand wash and don't use abrasives. I measured fat yesterday. The ink just came off. I have included photos to show the ink on the lard now. Plus a picture of a mug with no measurement lines. Oxo makes the same measuring cup and I bought it yesterday.

These measuring cups are designed for measuring out messy ingredients like peanut butter, mayonnaise, or tomato paste. I mainly use mine to pour the right amount of water into the coffee maker. For that it works great. I also bought this because the numbers on the previous adjustable mug I had were wearing out. I'm giving this five stars despite many complaints about delamination because this measuring cup is excellent for my (very specific) purposes. See, I need to keep track of my cat's calorie and fluid intake, and I need to be as accurate as possible. I can't imagine a measuring cup making this process easier than this one. Update: I finally found "Trump" for this tool. I have NEVER managed to get the right amount of waffle mix into a waffle iron. My new waffle maker calls for 1'1/3 cups of mixture, so I decided to give this tool a try for the job. It worked flawlessly, I can't think of a better way to do this job; My old style "miracle mug" was so difficult to slide compared to this one that it would be difficult to actually empty it.
