Klean Kanteen Resistant Bottle Silicone Review

The soft plastic ring around the spout is falling apart. I ordered three pieces and two fell apart. One of my two year olds was drinking from this when he spat out a black chunk that came off. I have a couple of old Kleen Kanteen kids that have hard plastic grommets and have never had a problem with them. I will look for more of this. I hope Kleen Kanteen returns to the original design.

I recently bought three kids table wedges that came with a sports cap AND a lid cap so was a little disappointed when I got an extra bottle and had to order a sports bottle cap cap, sold separately. However, it was a big disappointment to find out that the sports cap has no cap! It seems standard to keep the mouthpiece clean between drinks. I can't even find it being sold separately. I was kind of excited about it.

This cap is beautiful to look at but frustrating to use. If the bottle is upright, it will leak. I discovered this when I put a bottle in my backpack with this replacement cap. Water spread all over the packaging. I looked at Klean Kanteen's website and it said the lid was "spill proof". Not leakproof. I went back to the cap that comes with the bottle that you have to unscrew to drink. The fact that the "Sport Cap" is leaking makes it unusable.

We still have one of these that goes with his insulated baby lamp which we have had for a year and a half now and use it every day. It stayed in kindergarten, so I ordered another one to take home. Delivered today, the rubber stopper broke when disassembled for washing. Seems like they changed the material or it was already broken/torn because I pulled it out just like the other one (which we had for a year and a half and it's still going strong). Super easy.

Great for drinking on the go, the previous bottle was a two handed challenge so this is a lot easier. Unfortunately the check valve leaks when hit, this could be due to a small cage around it or something as my Klean Kanteen is now leaking. Hands down the best water bottle stopper I've ever seen! The fit is perfect for my clean dining room, no loose or loose anywhere. The mouthpiece is made of soft rubber instead of hard plastic, eliminating the irritation from hitting the front teeth too hard when using a hardtop. We first bought some of these for our old non-insulated Klean Kanteen bottles. We've since bought a couple of Glacier Point Metal Insult Water Bottles, which we prefer from Klean Kanteens because they stay cold much longer and don't "sweat". But the Glacier Point bottles had a really crappy sports cap that's made out of brittle plastic and breaks easily (we smashed two of them). This spring we received two of these bottles for my wife and my 4 year old daughter's water bottles. I carry bottles of this in the pockets of my cargo shorts for various outdoor activities throughout the summer (at least a few times a week). Every time I sit with bottles in my pocket, I can be sure that water will come out of the small "breathable” holes and my shorts will get wet. I bought 2 of these caps based on reviews for my 2 new Klean Kanteen Classic Stainless Steel 20oz vacuum flasks. With the Loop Cap I bought a few days ago. The flip cap that comes with the bottle is great, but removing the cap EVERY time I wanted to drink wasn't very effective.
