Electric Combo best in Testers

Funky combo at a great price. The 120 volt socket tester is perfect for every jack of all trades. In addition, the non-contact force sensor is an excellent tool for checking the lack of energy in the context of occupational safety.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Repair

Lots of false alarms

Like any deadman's stick, it's not very accurate. I got a positive result on the phone lines looking directly at both unconnected ends. The socket tester works well.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Modern

Sensitivity problems are good for voltage testers

I ordered two sets of these devices and although both worked well at lower voltages including 120 volts both failed to detect 240 volt lines energized in either NCVT-1 or NCVT-2 mode, so as always, make sure you test on a known circuit with the same voltage before trusting this or any such tester.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Negative impression

High quality - no need to look

Klein tools are worth the price compared to cheaper options. You can tell they use quality parts and feel comfortable doing it. Not to mention that you get a much better price here at Revain than you would for a big HD or similar. Anyone interested in DIY renovations or similar, this is a great addition to your arsenal. Don't look for others, these are the best.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • dodgy

Great detection tools but will never replace a good meter

Not a big fan of dead man's sticks, but they're sometimes useful for trying to identify all the outlets and light switches on a circuit. I use an output tester more than one stick. I bought them to replace some of the things that left me at work one day. I think they had better seats. I would buy them again if needed without hesitation. All of my power tools are either Klein or Fluke. I wouldn't trust my life to any other brand.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Only worked once - tester

I bought this voltage tester to replace my previous one which I accidentally dropped down the stairs. About a month after I bought it, I used it and it worked great, no problems. Then a few days ago I had to use it again and although the voltage indicator light function worked, the beep that was supposed to accompany the light stopped working. The next day when I tried to finish the project, I couldn't turn on the voltage tester. I put new batteries in, but that's no problem. I have always…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • So so

Usage Issues - What happened to the simple ON/OFF switch?

Press the button for a certain number of seconds to turn it on. Press and hold the button several times to turn on low voltage detection. Hold down the "OFF" button indefinitely. Wait for the beep. Wait, was that the "ON" signal from the "OFF" signal? Who knows? Reminds me of those LED flashes where you have to press the button 5 times to get to the "OFF" position while cycling through various useless dimming and blinking modes designed by software engineers. Too difficult to use. I just wanted

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
