This is a perfect choice if you are in need of a rugged push button! These metal push buttons are a very tough, small, panel-mount latching switch with an illuminated Red LED Ring . It is a SPDT with 16mm threading and 1mm pitch. This button is perfect for basic On/Off functions with cable length 1M / 3.3ft. These latched buttons are rated up to 5A and 250V AC while the LED is rated for 3-6V. Momentary switch: Push & Hold,ON; Release,OFF. Works well with the pc and any device that requires a momentary 12V pulse to initiate on/off functions.

Works well wrong color

This item is suitable to replace a broken PC button but I have ordered a red button and received an orange one. It wasn't a big deal, and the tactile feel when pressing the button is very pleasant. The button also includes a ring nut for panel mounting.

Pros
  • This is SPDT with 16mm thread and 1mm pitch. This button is perfect for basic on/off functions with a cord length of 1m/3.3ft.

This is not the color I ordered.

This appears to be a quality part, works great and is a reasonable size to replace the missing power button on my computer. I have a distinctly orange and doesn't fit at all. I'm keeping it because I need it and don't want to complain and put up with the hassle of returning it, but I'm very disappointed to receive the wrong item, false advertising. Look at the picture, it's clearly not RED.

The switch can be used for computer

Replaced 1 computer with this switch, it's flexible to bend around corners, it's heavy, I had to change the inside of the case. All required headers for Pled+ power button, tested 3 motherboards and cables can be used with most motherboards, I would say should work with any motherboard, but I haven't tested every motherboard. Also note that the switch is round, it will take some work to replace a square or oblong switch to keep it looking good.
