Find some pins, mark 3 holes on the support side of the bracket, pre-drill, screw in 3 latch bolts and they pull out and are very strong. Well made, they look and feel solid. I use mine to hold a 2500 watt pure sine wave inverter mounted on a 1" red oak with enough extra board length to store manuals and other stuff.
