Very durable, withstands the elements.

This is a very good quality cable. I bought this cable in 2011 and have been outdoors in all weather conditions for the past 4.5 years. There is absolutely no mention of rust or corrosion. Of course, the coating is a bit dull, but that's completely normal. This is a very durable cable and I will definitely buy this brand again if I need it.

Pros
  • wire
Cons
  • socket required

Excellent quality at a great price

Excellent quality. I used to buy a 1/16" cable and it worked great so I bought it for another project from the same supplier in Revain. Again great cable at a great price and arrived in 2 days of premiere. Works great with Cooper Tools tips sold in lots of 50. As with the 1/16" spade terminals, you don't need a crimping tool and I just crimp the end with a large pair of pliers.

Pros
  • Raw material
Cons
  • unreliable

Great for ziplining

We bought this to make ziplining at home. In our research, we required 3/16 wire that has a 7 by 19 construction to achieve the best size and strength. We decided that 250 feet would be the best value for this length and would allow us to do one really long zip line or more than one. The wire worked great, supported users over 200 pounds, and slid well in our pulley machine. We were able to cut it with wire cutters and bolt cutters without much pressure (bolt cutters didn't work but helped us).

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Crumpled
