    Arrived early Excellent durability

    My slide arrived early. The box was slightly wrinkled but the foil was not damaged. What I love about this film is that it expires in February 2022, which gives you plenty of time to plan your shots and use them without rushing. I heard about bleada but haven't used it yet. I'll post some pics once I have some development.

    GREAT! - Film

    This is maybe my favorite black and white 120 film. Graininess is excellent when properly processed and this film is very easy to process. Sure, you're paying $5 a roll, but there's nothing to complain about for the tried-and-true black-and-white film! Let's face it, if you want cheap, go digital! I can unreservedly recommend this film to any photographer, whether beginner or professional! See customer pictures for some of my scans from this film!

    Ideal for MEDIUM FORMAT shooters; can be easily expanded at home

    An excellent package for budget film work. No problems developing and printing (75 degrees and development 6 minutes 30 seconds). Gradations and tones are impressively sharp and virtually grain-free. The 400 speed gives you plenty of scope when shooting in a wide range of lighting conditions. At the price you really can't go wrong. THIS IS FOR MEDIUM FORMAT CAMERAS AND WILL NOT FIT YOUR 35MM.     Classic Kodak TMAX at a great price!

    I've been shooting with Kodak TMAX film for 20 years now and I love the look of it. 400 speed film has good latitude, fairly fine grain though not as fine as 100 speed film, but obviously better low light performance. The film squeezes pretty well too, so if you need an extra stop or two it's treated to some extra contrast and grain (but I like the look).     Versatile, flexible and very sharp

    Despite the special nature of T-Grain film, it is a pleasure to work with. I don't claim to be a professional photographer, but I can say that Tmax is built for professional sharpness and quality. As an amateur photographer, I prefer to use film with the wide tolerances that this film offers. Using Tmax in my Diana camera, I don't have to worry about over or under developing images; The film offers enough leeway for rolls with different exposure levels.     Cost, fine grain, variable contrast and 3-level flexibility in one emulsion

    My medium format GOTO film. Personal notes on MY preferred results have shown that it pairs very well with developer matched TMAX at a 1:4 dilution. For ME, a 5 minute prewash really opens it up to developer action. TMAX is determined by good speed, contrasting fine grain. Exposure at 800, 1600 and even 3200 is not beyond the scope of this film. That's probably why Kodak no longer makes the 1600 or 3200 TMAX. Another developer for this film that seems to be doing well is Clayton F76. I only…

    Tmax 400 is one of the most technologically advanced black and white negative films available today. The speed is very slow for 400 film. Graininess is minimal and unobtrusive, especially on 120 and larger formats. Mutual rejection exists but is minimal compared to similar films.     Convenient to store and use for studio and land art

    I like to use Tmax in situations where it's appropriate. You should do your own experimentation and research to see if it's right for you, but I believe it delivers on what Kodak says. At least for me it is. I like to use it when working in low light with my Mamiya RZ67. I also use size 135 in my Nikon F6 and get amazing results.     Why we stay with Kodak!

    The current TMY is one of the best black and white films of all time; At 120, especially at larger frame sizes like 6x9, it captures an amazing amount of detail with an almost entirely linear response for 10+ stops. It is excellent for printing and scanning with relatively little anti-aliasing at 4000 dpi. If you liked PXP or VP, it's similar.
