good price for camera and photo

I bought my son's 10th birthday used. He wanted a "mom-like" camera because he just LOVES taking pictures and he actually takes some pretty good pictures! I've bought him several cheap digital cameras over the years, so I figured buying a used camera like this wouldn't be a huge loss if he accidentally broke it. I even bought him a camera bag to protect him. He was very excited! The camera didn't quite match the description regarding the condition of the camera, but that didn't bother me in…

MEDIUM SIZE, WITH THE NEEDED VIEWFINDER, EASY TO USE, WELL MADE.

This was sold as fair use and was clean and looking the same. I wish Kodak still made them and to be honest THIS is the second camera I have of this SAME MODEL. Living in fear, the one I bought in 2009 died after being "hardwired" several times and taking at least 26,000 photos. I bought this as a replacement. Just got back from a trip to Italy and this new one WORKS GREAT. Kodak is very easy to use, close-up/flower, night portrait, fireworks, sports and many more options/settings. new cameras…

Great camera except for the fixed viewfinder

This camera is a great deal. Note, however, that you only get the camera. Other cameras come with additional accessories such as battery, memory card, charger, etc. Not this one. All you get is a camera. For a battery, charger, good xGB memory card, case, tripod and software, you'll have to shell out some money (unless you want to use Picassa). But it's worth it. It took me quite a long time to decide between this and the Panasonic Lumix, which was significantly cheaper to order by mail. But…

Better than expected

Tired of the 3x zoom on my Canon digital camera, I found this camera for $189 and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. It has one of the best lenses I've seen on this type of camera. Response time is also better than my other camera - there isn't much lag between photos. I had some power off/on issues or the lens stuck as others have mentioned, I switched from Lithium AA to Lithium. CRV-3 and the problem is over. Either way, CRV3s last longer, and as mentioned, you can buy them as…

Top-quality images, simple operation

I received my Z712 a week ago and have taken over 600 shots with it. It's quite small (although it won't fit in your pocket) and light. This is a fast camera with precise focus. 12x zoom is great. It has an auto mode that evaluates the shooting conditions and the subject and automatically selects the correct scene mode; in my experience it's pretty accurate. You can use it as a guide and shoot, or make your own aperture, shutter, or full manual settings. The camera's high ISO does a good job…

A few flaws but a great camera for the price

I've owned the Z740 for almost two years and the Z712 kept most of the same features but added higher ISO settings, bigger screen, bigger Zoom and more added resolution. Most of my photographs are taken in challenging environments, at professional hockey games. The main advantage of this camera over other cameras in this price range is the zoom, which gets me close enough to the action. The menu items and buttons are well thought out and easy to understand. Multiple preset modes allow amateur…

For an amateur, one of the best cameras I've had!

I bought this camera in July 2008 and took excellent pictures with it. Unfortunately, it started to fail 5 years later. I could blame my little ones for dropping it from time to time, but to be honest it was mostly me - the dropper. Anyway, I've taken very good pictures of my kids and various places around the world (it travels well) and while it's a bulky camera, it's not that difficult to fit in my purse (I carry though large pockets). ). ).I'm a mom of three with a camera in the kitchen…

Damn good camera for the money, simple and versatile

Bought this camera for my wife. In the last few months we have taken around 1200 photos and a few minutes of video. Super features for the price: mega zoom and excellent optics, plus a damn good image stabilization system. Hey, I ditched my Nikon Coolpix 5700 and a bag full of film cameras in favor of this small number. The 12x optical zoom is HUGE when it comes to composition. 3x zoom on most cameras, as far as I can spit. 6X and you are there, 12X and you are there! The quality of the optics…
