The real product doesn't look like the picture. The one I received is an ugly flat brown with bright white stitching and the skin is a greenish tint. The pen slots are also very narrow. I emailed the seller and never received a reply. Wouldn't recommend this except for very narrow pens or maybe kids brushes. Item returned for refund.

This is a high quality leather product that I highly recommend. This probably takes longer than me! The processing is first class. The skin is very durable and smells good! Not long enough to hold an unsharpened Blackwing, but my Blackwings don't stay unsharpened long enough for me to worry that much about this quirk, and certainly not long enough to even consider knocking down a star. This is an exciting offer for a really nice pen box!

As someone who dabbles in leather goods but was just eyeing a roll of pencils, I wasn't expecting much from it based on price. I was positively surprised. I got a compliment in a single meeting where I went too far and it still smells like the leather shops I frequented as a kid, full of the same vegetable tanned leather.
