🍊 Komax Tritan Plastic Pitcher with Lid - 60-oz (1.8-quart) Compact Water Pitcher, Orange Lid, BPA-Free Review

If you're looking for a clear glass that stays the same, look elsewhere. I bought two, one in this color and one in a different color, but the pitcher itself was transparent. Only the edge has been colored. It's cloudy and overall just a bad buy. It is not dishwasher safe and over time the seal around the lid will begin to move when you remove the lid to fill.

I like the idea of this pitcher but it doesn't hold 2 quarts as advertised. It seemed small to me when I received it, so I tried to pour 2 measured liters into it. Unfortunately 2 liters of liquid fills it to the brim with little left over so the jug is useless if you want a 2 liter size. A standard two-liter jug leaves enough room at the top for stirring; This one is so full that it squirts out and makes a mess if you try to move it. Forget stirring anything or putting on a lid.

I often mix iced tea to keep in the fridge and it's perfect. It is placed on the door shelf of the refrigerator along with milk. A minor complaint is that the small swing door is very narrow and difficult to open. Maybe it will loosen up over time? Although everything else is there. I liked the description of the product but I was a bit surprised when I received it as it was quite small compared to my expectations. But once you spot the optical illusion, everything is fine as this isn't a larger round pitcher. I like the way it was designed and built. The square shape definitely helps to place it in the fridge and the position of the spout in the corner is logical and easier to use. The fact that it's BPA-free and can safely hold both boiling and cold liquids really helps.

I received this jug earlier this year and loved it, but unfortunately the lid broke off in the corner last week with normal use. It seems that it was quite durable, but apparently it isn't. This is an absolutely superb product. After receiving and trying it out, I ordered a second one. They make them orange and green so I took one of each. I'm seriously considering a third one. You are so good. They're made of Tritan, the brand name for a very clear, BPA-free plastic that's highly resistant to stains and can withstand very hot water. I've made a number of food storage containers out of them and they work so well I threw away my old ones. The pitcher is square with rounded corners.
