This is a quality product for home use at a very good price. Each bit appears to be very well made, the edges are sharp and will hold an "edge" on softwood and MDF, and the bearings are of good quality. I smeared them with spray wax (never oil based!) to extend their life. They have two grooves or cutting surfaces as standard and a prescribed recoil-resistant design. My lucky find of the week!

Used it for a mirror stand and it did the job almost perfectly (I had a slight crack in a very small area but it was the fault of the wood texture and I chose to remove a lot of material in 1 shot vs 2 passes on here, which would solve the problem). Getting a big stamp at $30 for 1 versus $13 for a set of 4 is a steal. Even if they don't last that long I think it's worth the money, I don't use bevel cutters often so should last a while

I had an old bevel cutter that I used for years and it was just wearing out, it was time for an upgrade. I don't use chamfers often, but I prefer them when I need them. Since this usage is sporadic for me, I didn't want to spend a fortune on high-end beats. Having used these bits I can attest that they work well and give a clean cut. Again, I don't use them every day, so I can't rate heavy usage. They fit me perfectly and I would buy them again if needed or even consider buying other KOWOOD…
