Manage your Aura smart Bluetooth lock from your smart phone or mobile device when you are within Bluetooth range using the Kwikset App. Lock and unlock your front door lock from your smartphone using the Kwikset app within Bluetooth range of the lock. Keyless entry convenience at your fingertips with up to 250 programmable unique custom user codes for anytime, one time, or specific days and times. When in Bluetooth range you can create, temporarily disable, and delete user codes from your smartphone and set schedules for customer user codes. Receive notifications of the lock's activity or view the lock's event history on your smartphone using the Kwikset app within Bluetooth range of the Aura door lock. Kwikset products compatible with the Kwikset App only work in the United States and Canada.

Not worth your time

Installation wasn't easy. I was having a hard time holding the wires in place to fit the back of the lock case. After I turned it on, it didn't open the door. I'll call customer service. I was on hold for about 30 minutes after going through the setup process. The support rep said I need new batteries, the ones that came with a latch didn't have enough power to open the door. I got out of the phone and at the store to buy more batteries. I called support again to finish installing the lock. I…

Mixed feelings about door hardware and locks

First of all, I'm glad I waited for it to hit the market for $92. This seems like the right price for it. Installation was super easy. Follow the instructions and everything will be fine. Trying to thread the cord is a little tight for my taste, but that's okay. The only negative I have is the software. I had a lot of trouble with this at first and thought about reclaiming the ban. I had a hard time adding blocking via Bluetooth. There just won't be a pair. I used a OnePlus phone. I went…

I would really like to award 4.5 stars here. I only give 5 stars for things that are truly immaculate, but this is really very good quality with very few imperfections. It will only be installed for a day, but the first thing to notice is the excellent quality of the lock itself. Much softer than the cheaper one that was installed with the house. Also, the physical button swap was fairly easy and very welcome. I wasn't sure if it would work as the original lock wasn't Kwikset but it worked. And
