I purchased these tension rods to hang curtains on my sidelights when it's dark. They are easy to use and hold all the time. I did not want permanent curtains on my sidelights, so this was a really great inexpensive option to be able to cover them at night. They would also be a great option for those who don't want to put holes in their sidelights by hanging permanent rods, but would like curtains on them 24/7.

It's hard to get set up and doesn't hold anything I would try to hang on it. Springs aren't strong enough May not work well on uneven surfaces!

These spring tension curtain rods are very well made. Much sturdier than my old ones. The mechanism is smooth with a tight spring. The finish is a glossy, opaque white & very smooth so it didn't snag on the drapery fabric.

This was perfect, I needed it for a 13 1/2” wide small window. It’s pretty strong and comes with 2. Easy to install. I put it up as soon as I got home.

These are as advertised- very small. But their width means they are super weak. I wasn’t able to use it for what I needed and they’re now sitting in a closet probably until I move again. I’m not sure what other folks buy these for but I can’t imagine it holding much up. Maybe a tiny sheer valance curtain or something?

Mislabeled 5-7.5 inches, this set includes 6 rods 7.5 -12 inches. The rubber grippers are okay and a good diameter 3/4 inch for holding on.

Used as a clothing rod for AG doll clothing. The small size fit perfect in cube shelf and the AG hangers fit perfectly! The rod is sturdy and stays in place. Love it!

Be careful not to twist open the tension rod too far or it will bend. Lengthen the rod about 1/4 inch longer than the space you need. Place one side near where it will anchor and raise the rod in at a 30° angle to the poistion you need it, parallel or horizontal. Then tighten the rod with a twist. It does not always click but check it before you leave it or it may fall. Works perfectly for curtain sheers.

I use these for my closet curtains at college and they work great! They were super easy to figure out, and easy to put back up if one of them happens to fall. Pretty sturdy overall and worth the money.

I ordered these in Pewter and the color is great! I wanted a metal rod but didn’t want to pay the steep price. These were a perfect sub. I used them for tier curtains that had grommets. Easy to install, look good, and perfect size!

They are easy enough to use except that once you set the tension, it doesn't stay.it "unravels" and falls down. You actually have to make the tension well beyond the point they should be, and wedge it where needed.

Although there is nothing wrong w this tension rodIt was the smallest I could find for my side window next to door. Thanks for attention.

I noticed my chimney damper wouldn't shutting, causing a draft and increasing my utility bills.The chimney repair guy wanted $85 bucks just to show up. This rod was much cheaper then a repair and is more stealth the a piece of wood. You really can see it when the metal screen is closed.Just hope it lasts.

These spring tension curtain rods are very well made, sturdy and so economical. I bought the smaller size for the sidelights at my front door. Perfect !
