Fast service Good for spares

These are great shock absorbers I've used before. Got a great deal on my old '95 Plymouth van, in addition to a set of new HD rear springs. The service was quick and the price was right. What else can you ask for?

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

Installed 2 weeks ago in my city and country Limited.

Installed 2 weeks ago on my Town and Country Limited. Immediately noticed a HUGE improvement in ride quality. considering buying the same brand for the front of the van and my wife's car.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • silent

Excellent ride and handling

The best shock absorbers for the money. Monotube shock absorber that absorbs spring vibrations and softens road bumps without losing control. I've been using this product since 1978. Tried all other brands. Gas is just my choice.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Intervals

Good product. about shocks, struts and suspension

I didn't expect such an improvement in ride comfort. Did the last run to remember how I rode before the fitment. I even drove through the usual bumps and potholes. I put the van through the same tests and on many of them I didn't feel any bumps or dips. Good product.

Pros
  • A good product for its price
Cons
  • poorly thought out

good value for money, easy to install

Much better than the Monroe load balanced shocks I installed about 4 years ago. The Monroe had a terrible rumble from day one of installation, very loud and noisy, not a great ride. These KYBs, on the other hand, make them feel like a new car. Easy to install with decent tools, although the bolts can be prone to seizing, they are easily accessible with a good jack and stands. They fit perfectly in my 06 Chrysler T&C.

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • Functionality

Really improved movement in my trailer

I have installed two of these and two complete KYB Strut Plus assemblies in my trailer. Those gas-a-just shocks are fine. My problem is the poor quality of the KYB strut assembly. Based on the experience I've had with the racks and the lack of concern I've received from KYB customer service. Will never buy from KYB again. But these shocks were fine, improved the ride and everything as advertised. But for my money I will buy another brand next time.

Pros
  • Components and valves designed specifically for Chrysler and Dodge minivans
Cons
  • I'll write later

KYB is the best dampener for my wife's van for the price.

Arrived very quickly. I have installed KYBs in many cars and trucks and love their durability and functionality. They dampen the suspension well without being harsh like the horses in my race car. A little harder than OEM, but I think - just right. Feels very similar to the Bilstein I recently put on my truck (double the price of the KYB but I'll have the truck long after the van swap). Very quick and easy to install on Dodge Caravan. The front ones (if I replace them) will be stiffer…

Pros
  • Monotube design outperforms all other standard shock absorbers
Cons
  • Other Other

Great replacement for '06 Town and Country

This is a rear shock replacement for a 2006 Chrysler T&C. My previous shock was so worn that it could be compressed with a single squeeze, after which it took 30 seconds to rebound. My car only had about 40,000 miles at the time, well short of the manufacturer's recommended 50,000 spare miles. Of course, this car can always transport 5 people and has made cross-country trips with a full load, so it is understandable that the shock absorber wears out faster. Installing the shock was fairly easy…

Pros
  • 25% better damping efficiency than Original Equipment shocks
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
