artwork . for transmission and transmission

The oil pan has a great design. It's downright beautiful. I would have given a 5 star rating but the carrier literally threw the package outside and luckily my son was home to collect it. FedEx is the worst supplier I have ever dealt with. First, they are slow and definitely don't care about us since consumers spend our hard-earned money on them.

Great range at a great price

This is a Gen III 6.0 with a lowered S10 frame. He wouldn't have had enough clearance with a pan truck, but he will here. If you are making a swap and using a truck engine, be sure to purchase a new oil pan for proper clearance. As you can see from the photos it bolts down perfectly and has a nice low profile so it doesn't hang under the crossbar.

Looks great but had issues with oil pickup and a missing bolt hole.

The sump looks fine but I had to modify the internal baffle to clear the recommended pickup tube (12558251). Look at the photos where I used the playdoh to find out where the contact was made and then the cutout. I also modified the factory compartment to match, trimmed the front and made a small gap for the receiver tube. Update: I'm lowering my rating when I discovered the bolt hole wasn't drilled. I will level it and drill the missing hole but that is poor quality control. Upgrade, oil…

Installation Issues: Gears and Transmissions

The installation on this sucks. Too bad I didn't read the other reviews before buying. First I blamed myself thinking I misaligned things, then I blamed the air pan, then I blamed the oil pickup tube. It was strange considering it looks high quality when you first unbox it. Now I know this is a stupid baffle inside blocking the oil pickup tube. It's ridiculous that I have to cut metal to fit an easy to use oil pan. As others have said it is missing a hole which can be clearly seen by aligning…
