Stopper missing, otherwise well made.

Great for beads but I didn't have his end caps which takes half the reason off my purchase. I am usually a traveling knitter and was looking forward to my beads being ready to use. I'm sure I'll find a way to make a cork, but it's better not to. Otherwise it does the job and the needle itself was what I expected.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Not for layering yarn

I'm so disappointed that this beading tool didn't work for me. I had him make a beaded pico weave with a malabrigo sock (pleated lightweight yarn). The hook could only hook onto one layer, so it was useless. In the end I had to give up because it ruined my yarn. I expected this to work with heavy and layered yarn. If you only need it for tip or gossamer or single layer fingering, this might work for you.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

very simple and effective

I love this product! I make a lot of beads in my knit and this thing makes it easy and quick. I can almost always wear a whole row of pearls at once. This item is suitable for fingering fine yarn and size 6.0 beads. The smaller one can hold a 6.0 bead but will distort thin yarn so don't make the mistake of trying to make it for both sizes, it won't work. The downside is a small rubber stopper at the end. I've lost a few and would like to see a more permanent solution to this.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
