test, test. on Water Filtration & Softeners

I have tried these and cheaper white waters. I couldn't believe there was a BIG difference and they were so much better. After 2.5 weeks I got a change from 6.5 to 10.5 with this on a new gauge and drops to test. It's perfect I would say. They are trying. The white filters were still 6.5 (no change at all) after almost a week of use? I was wondering why white filtered water was repeatedly giving me acidic indigestion! Use MAVEA filters instead of specialty coffee

that my coffee tasted terrible. I used to use the MAVEA filter which worked really well but I heard MAVEA was going out of business so I switched to it. To test this filter, I left all my other variables unchanged and simply disabled the water filter. I live in Seattle and use George Howell coffee, tap water and an OTTO Chemex coffeemaker. Waste of Money

These filters give the water a slightly nice mineral flavor but other than that I'm not sure they do anything. I live in New Jersey where the water has a strong chemical taste and I still have that bad chemical taste after using this filter. I tried 2 of the 4 filters included in this pack and waited about 20 days to give a final review. I've had a very hard time finding a good water filter jug at a reasonable price.
