Burns if you use your lights!

Do not install this on lamps you actually intend to use. Ours burned out and discolored after a year. It's annoying to install on curved lenses, it's impossible that there are no bubbles. I suggest buying yellow onions instead!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Fine

Good Quality Colour: Finish

Well this is the second time I have ordered this item so I am definitely happy with it. It's pretty easy to use, all you need is a little patience. I wish it was a little more yellow with the fog lights on, but it's nothing a yellow bulb or other layer of film can't fix. All in all a great product!

Pros
  • Great Construction
Cons
  • Older Model

Great tint for fog lights but beware of foil burn-in

Updated review: After a few months of use the foil is beginning to burn due to the heat generated by my fog lights. While the yellow is still there, it looks bad with the lights off during the day. I removed the foil and replaced the fog lights with LED headlights that emit the same amber light. I would recommend this film to people who use heat lamps.

Pros
  • Lasting finish
Cons
  • Has imperfections

Initial installation is very simple but take your time

Initial installation is very simple but take your time, be patient and remove the fog lights from the car to make it easier. I found it's better to cut around the face rather than folding around the edges, otherwise the edges will lift. This film is for halogen light as my 6000k LED fog lights turned faint yellow/almost slightly green but the second layer added is the correct color so keep that in mind

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Not trendy

The film is soft and elastic, quite thick (much thicker than the tinted film). Installed fog lights on a 2015 Outback. Many reviews say the film burns when you use lights. Since I rarely use fog lights, I wasn't overly concerned. They look great and are pretty easy to install. Surprisingly, the set even included a razor blade, a mop, and a small spray bottle (which didn't work).

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Easy to fit and looks great

Very easy to fit over VW fog lights. Did a wet mount. I had to cut out the pattern first. To do this I pressed the tinfoil against the oval lens on the lantern lid, removed it and placed it on cardboard, then cut it out and attached a tab at each end for easier assembly. The precut film has these protrusions. I used a general purpose yellow film sheet. I cut the film to fit the template and then followed the assembly instructions that came with the film. No air bubbles or wrinkles. Looks great.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Security
