The main difference between the Laowa Argus 33mm f/0.95 and other Chinese brand lenses with f/0.95 aperture is the apochromatic design, which almost completely corrects chromatic aberrations, i.e. purple and green false colors that can appear both as a sharp border and as a color shift in the defocused area. The Argus handles this kind of aberration well, according to independent reviews.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

In general, even with all the shortcomings, the lens is excellent, but be careful when buying, this model is made for crop cameras (like a6X00), which for some reason is rarely advertised. When used with ff cameras, problems can arise, so for them it is better to consider the same model, but with a 35mm focal length.
