I had to adjust it a bit but it worked perfectly as a wall shelf for my sons cars. We just put 2 shelves side by side vertically with a piece of wood between the corners and now over 100 toy cars can be stored lined up on the wall so that's 2 holders. A few screws split the wood, but the rest was fine. Gather carefully and slowly. The instructions are not very clear, but quite easy to understand. The end result looks a little jagged, which is what I was expecting, seeing that the four sections of the shelf don't have any pre-drilled holes or indicators, so you should be able to guess that you're roughly in the middle of the block of wood. where to screw. So the reviews were mixed but I decided to buy anyway as I liked the look and it went well with my decor. I am extremely disappointed. Nothing is lined up, not crooked, I had to shave off parts of the wood to get it to fit, it's crooked in a few spots and the "wood" snapped before I could do anything. I ordered this shoe rack to put in my closet. I really don't have many shoes and I hate having them scattered underneath. When I opened the package, I thought. It seems cheap, but well that at all.
