Non-OEM Ford parts best in lock cylinders

Parts worked fine I assume but I paid $126 thinking I'd get genuine Ford parts like you in the picture can see this is not the case. (The bottom ignition is a factory part.) They also sent me 2 passenger locks, so I have to turn the key to the right to open the door in the opposite direction. My suggestion might be to buy cheaper parts as I'm pretty sure that's all you get anyway.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Security

The perfect kit! in parts

I had to change the locks after my Ford was stolen and returned. The lock set includes two keys and matching locks. There are no instructions, but I easily found a great YouTube video that helped me. Took me about 2 hours total but this was my first time and I also changed the door handles. The last point is the lock on the driver's side and on the passenger's side. When disassembling the originals, pay attention to this and replace it with a similar lock.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Bad impression

They are perfect for all of my 2003 f350 ignition timing.

After a bad life broke the lock and handle on my passenger door and drilled out the ignition to steal my truck, the last thing I wanted was a garage bill. So I decided to fix my truck myself. I ordered these parts and received them within a few days. They fit my 2003 f350 perfectly. The total installation time for the ignition lock, the two front doors and the rear door was about an hour. Couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • A few little things

Incorrect trunk lock on 2003 F150 Extended Cab

The door locks and ignition worked well but the trunk lock included in the kit turned out to be a misaligned lock. Installing it on my truck was a bit tricky as one of the door handle screws was in a hard to reach spot. My truck also has a PATS system so I had to copy the keys to a chip key as the keys that come with them don't have a chip and I knew I had to do it in advance. Everything worked as expected except for the trunk lock.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Wrong parts in ignition switch

When the item arrived and I took it out of the shipping carton, the parts fell out of the plastic bag it was sealed in. Just thought the stitching came undone when things got pushed around during shipping. Luckily I started by replacing the broken padlock on the passenger side. During installation, I noticed that instead of the driver's and passenger's side (2), locks were sent to me on the driver's side. (The ignition lock and trunk lock looked fine.) Knowing I had to return the unit, I…

Worked great on a 2003 F250!

We built a working truck and picked up a nicer tailgate with a step on the tailgate from the new truck. The seller forgot to give us the key and I had lost his info when we got to install it. Because we stay different. Tools in bed under the trunk lid, we wanted to be sure we could lock the tailgate. Sure, we could spend $30-$50 just to replace the lock, but the keys don't match the doors or the ignition. Since this will be a multi-operator service truck, we must all have the same key to…
