This is a piece of junk. I used it once and the second time the locking handles on the back came loose and my phone fell on the street. Luckily I just fled and no damage happened. Now I have to take care of the hassle of removing it from my rearview mirror by digging the box out of the trash and taking it to the UPS store. Unless you want to replace a perfectly good phone, don't buy this!

This phone mount is great if you have a sport bike with limited or no handlebar space. It holds my phone very securely, adjusts easily but doesn't move when I'm driving down the street. I do have a complaint that sometimes the adjustment screw gets stuck and you have to stick your fingernail under it to pry it away from the locking prongs to get the phone out (see video), but overall it works well and I'd rather it be too secure than not sure enough! I have 2 of these for older bikes, there is no space on the handlebars for other types of holders. I bought 3 other holders that didn't fit before I found this one. I took it on a 1000 mile motorcycle ride with no problems. It holds the phone securely and I wasn't worried about the phone falling out. The first unit I ordered was damaged so I had to go to the UPS store to return it. If I wanted to go to a physical store, I would go to Best Buy first. The 2nd came and after 2 uses it broke in the same place. One of the 4 retractable brackets that attach your phone to this thing just fell out. Again. So now I have to go back to the UPS store to return the second piece of plastic trash. Then I start looking for one that isn't complete and complete garbage if any. An absolute waste of time.

Love these things. My phone doesn't move. The holder is very easy to install. That's pretty much the pinnacle of the fall. The mounting bracket itself is quite large and required a stand to mount it as the mounting point has a nearby protrusion. The flexible arm is quite tight and requires a lot of strength to bend. And yet this thing bounces around like rubber bands all the time as you drive. The mechanism for extending and folding the arms under the phone doesn't hold up well.
