I have 2 of these for older bikes, there is no space on the handlebars for other types of holders. I bought 3 other holders that didn't fit before I found this one. I took it on a 1000 mile motorcycle ride with no problems. It holds the phone securely and I wasn't worried about the phone falling out. I have a RAM mount on another bike, which is good, but it's easier to get the phone in and out of this one. For less than $15, this holder is a great option if you don't have room on your handlebars.
