I use a protective cover for the Samsung Galaxy S7, which is surrounded by rubber buffers on the sides. Fits tight but will stretch over time. The belt clip holds tight and the magnetic clasp holds tight enough but is easy to open. The phone cannot be charged in the case, but the headphones can be used if the orientation is correct. I bought another one after years of using it every day to carry my work phone around and wear and tear. Durable and very affordable.

This case is advertised to fit the Samsung Galaxy S7 with Otterbox case. That depends on your definition of "fit". If you want to use what I would call excessive force to slide the phone into the case. Then it might fit. But you will strain the elastic straps that hold the case together. I tried it on another S7 without a case and the phone slides in and out easily. look at my photo This shows that a phone with an Otterbox case is definitely more than just a phone case.

My biggest problem is that I couldn't find a phone case that didn't fall off my belt. It has a solid loop to hold it. I like the magnetic fixation. All the others I had were velcro and soon they stopped attaching! Love it. After about 3 weeks I saw signs of wear on the edges of the case. I bought this case for my Galaxy S7edge in June 2018. Since then it has been worn and used 6 days a week. I'm strict with phone cases. I work in a body shop so it was constantly being pulled and rubbed and accessed a lot more than the average user when using my phone for business. At around $10, this beats any other phone holster I've ever used. My phone is Galaxy J3 and same size as S6/S7. With the Otterbox Commuter Case it will not fit in this holster! I mean, I can slide it in with some effort, but the flip cover barely stays closed and randomly pops open with a little jerk because it's not big enough to fully cover my protruding phone.
