I installed lights around a $5 mirror I bought at a big store, nothing out of the ordinary. As I secured the lights around the mirror with double-sided tape, I noticed that the lighting gave my face a nice even glow. I highly recommend it because it helps my wife with her makeup and helps me get my hair in the perfect shape. I wish it was wireless or if I could route the cord behind the mirror but the price is pretty good allowing me to manage my cords on the wooden frame I built.

The light itself, dimmed by bulbs, is good and you can change it from warm to cool, but everything else in this setting is only 1 star. First, the wires connecting the bulbs are difficult to maneuver. You really can't wrap them up and hide them like they say you can. I spent so much time installing it but it really wasn't good. A few handy little lights in a pinch, although they don't seem bright enough for makeup if you're not already have another light source in the room also at the highest level. But they are not bad for the price and they are very easy to position and stick. HOWEVER, do not stick them on a bare wall as removing them again will strip a piece of the paint down to the board. . I wasn't quite sure what to expect from them but they were a very affordable alternative to the pre-lit mirrors I was looking at. They are a lot lighter than I thought, which was great because I have a very dark bathroom and applying makeup was a challenge. You know, you put it on and then you go outside and you're like, "Yay!"
