If this sponge brush is slightly dampened, you may be very surprised at how many small residues stick to the sponge. It attracts and holds material until removed, resulting in a cleaner surface.

I've replaced this boom head several times because I use it so often. I have 3 dogs and many visiting dogs. They all shed. This is the only broom that catches hair before it starts flying. I don't like brushing the hair off the broom, but I just use a damp paper towel and that removes most of the dog's hair.

Bought this head to replace my Vileda broom as I can't find one from Vileda. Had to do some remodeling as the Vileda fastener has 3 tubes instead of 2 to hold it in place but after that it fit fine. The material is a bit rougher, less dense than Vileda, but still works.

Jokes aside I wish I had had this 45 years ago. I ordered one and a spare head for my granddaughter for her birthday because she has a cat that also sheds a lot. You have to be careful when handling ceilings, walls and floors that have nails sticking out of them as it's just a foam sponge which is really good at attracting dust and cat hair. I also use it on my carpets to remove pet hair.

Love this replacement pick. I've had a broom with this nozzle for about 25 years. I can't remember where I bought it. The original height crumbled and became unusable. I was about to order a new broom when a replacement head popped up on my screen. I was so amazed that the broom I had for 25 years is still being made and sold. Goodbye Swifer. The foam broom is my choice.
