OMFG, this turned my rusty 10 year old dishwasher into a brand new machine. Enough exaggeration. There is a lot of iron in my water. After much research I found out why my HD was working so poorly. Around March of last year, they removed phosphates from DW detergents. Adding citric acid is necessary to pray that your dishes come out clean and not cloudy, especially if you have hard water. When I first ordered this product it came in a bag with my other items.
