Works much better than plastic!

Exactly what I wanted! I can't tell you the number of times I've twisted plastic to the point where the base broke. Just not with these! They are great even if you use a drill! They can also be easily removed (although you will leave a hole).

Very good quality much better than the plastic dowels

I used to buy these dowels in the past but lately all I can find are cheap plastic dowels which are awful. They are similar to the ones I have used and they are metal. They are strong and the screws turn very easily. It was a great price and I highly recommend them!

My Drywall Anchor

When I get something to hang on drywall, I usually throw out the anchors that came with it and use this type of anchor. 9 times out of 10, the anchors that come with it don't hold anything. Like the other reviewer here, I often twist and destroy plastic. These zinc beetles are the best. I will never use anything else.

Best Self Drilling Drywall Anchor

I've used different types of anchors to hang pictures on the wall in the past and they always took a long time to align properly and this self drilling drywall anchor solved my problem. This allows me to get this job done faster because no holes need to be drilled. With them I can put a much heavier frame on drywall. Unlike plastic dowels, they are very durable. It looks like a high quality alloy so rust doesn't stand a chance. Also, I could remove and reuse it if needed, which I think makes it
