Dim Bulb: Overrated Lighting Component

My analysis of this product showed that it was not compatible with certain bulbs, and the dimming function was only partial at best. The one positive aspect was that it was relatively easy to install. Overall, I was disappointed with the product and would not recommend it.

Updated Review: Better than I thought it would be in a week or so

Needed replacement for hot, energy-intensive halogen bulbs. These should be smart bulbs, so that's a plus. They're compatible with Alexa (in a way), but first you'll need to install the Lepro app (which is a pretty clunky app). You can't connect more than one lightbulb at a time — and each pairing attempt takes a minute or two. You will only find out if the pairing has failed after a long wait. Lack of functionality for LED lamps

Although I really tried to like them as the light and color are great and I adjusted them in the app for brightness and color, I just couldn't get past it when I turned the light off a few times - and turned on. From time to time the light went into reset mode, flickered, and the lights didn't go back to the same color and brightness that I set in the app, even though I set the app to turn on when Shut down or shutdown to reset saved settings.
