Someone lost the plug for our floor socket a long time ago. The plug kept getting dusty. So I tried this floor socket assembly and after removing the plastic phone(?) socket holder it replaced the old part and now we have a plug. The plate and fork are beautifully crafted from brass.

Perfect. I'm so glad they are. Suitable for floor sockets over 20 years old. A fresh brass plate and the missing round covers were so necessary to show my house to potential buyers. There is no hole for little feet or high heels to stumble into. Best of all, it came less than 24 hours after I ordered it.

My floor outlet had a flimsy metal cover that was dented from walking. Installs in less than 1 minute. The metal is very strong enough to walk on without damaging it. The lid is also heavy and unscrews easily. I like the lid because it keeps things from falling in. Highly recommend and worth the price.

I have found that they do not mix well with my other floor tiles. It is much yellower and lighter than any of my other floor tiles. Also, it was noticeably smaller than the pads I've used on outlets. It looks about the same size as a standard wall panel, while my other floor panels are larger. Not as heavy as my other floor tiles either. Looks like stamped sheet metal stock, not cast.

Wanted to replace a very old and tarnished single socket cover on the floor. This is the best option as Leviton sells more than just brass pickguards. Comes with a plastic insert for (2) RJ45 network connectors. It's no longer attached to the brass cap, so you don't have to cut anything, as other reviewers have stated. Simply remove the screws that secure the existing outlet cover and install the replacement with the screws provided. Everything looks great!

I only needed a rosette and plug to replace the one on the round socket. So I didn't use the included QuickPort and can't comment on how well this part works. This is a good quality heavy cap. Too bad I didn't get the one in the photo, with a set of screw holes next to the dowel hole, that's exactly what I needed. Instead, the one I received has two sets of screw holes (see picture). So I have two open holes through which dirt penetrates. I would give five stars if it didn't have extra holes.

We had our floors renewed and in the process we decided to replace our floor outlet covers. (Technically, "we" didn't decide to replace them.
