Unreliable Velcro Straps for Industrial Use

These straps failed to hold up in tough industrial and scientific environments. The Velcro quickly lost its grip, causing equipment to shift during transportation.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Unreliable and prone to failure.

The ratio of spiky and fluffy velcro is off.

The ratio of spiked to fluffy velcro varies on these, they should be 10-20% spiked but they are about 50% fluffy which is the size restricts they can fit.

Pros
  • Slight continuous groove helps to attach securely without over tightening
Cons
  • Very expensive

Disappointed

I just don't understand how they are supposed to work. The hook and loop are on the same side of the belt. No matter how I tried to use them, nothing worked for me. I bought a couple of shorter ones the same week and you thread the strap through the buckle, fold it back and it closes with velcro. Not this one. Bad app if you want them to hold something.

Pros
  • For attaching bundles of wires
Cons
  • No instructions
