Strong castles for rough quarters!

Having used TSA approved cable locks on several bags over the years - with varying results in terms of strength - I was impressed when I saw cable lock travel companion bags with much heavier cables and large sizes . drum dials. I wrote down the brand, found it online and bought a few after my trip. I've used them for carry-on and checked luggage since then, including my hard shell golf suitcase, and they've endured the kind of abuse only airlines can match. These travel locks are premium…

Easy To Use 3 Digit Padlock

This lock is a simple and affordable way to prevent someone other than a searcher from rummaging through your luggage when you travel. I love how easy it is to reset the lock to use my own combination. I pick the lock with its current combination of three from zero to nine, turn the shackle in the opposite direction, push it down and rotate it a quarter circle to align with the number repeater, and set whatever combination of numbers I want. . I can set the combination as often as I want. The…

Small strong TSA compliant padlock

This is a braided cable lock for luggage or bags. The outer shell of the lock is metal, the dials (there are 3 of them) are metal, the braided cable is metal. All in all, this is a very well made castle. At the first reception, you must set your combination. To do this, proceed as follows: 1. Set the lock to 0-0-02. Disconnect the cable from the lock.3. Take a pen or small pointed object and press (HOLD) the shiny round button below.4. To repeat, hold down the button for the next step.5. Set…

Slightly better than a coupler

I've had similar problems to others installing my own combination. By pressing the button I set the watch faces. I locked it, twisted the dials, punched in my combination and couldn't open it again. Luckily, YouTube shows how to open these types of TSA locks and I opened it in less than 5 minutes. Then I found that the lock only kept the first and last number but not the middle number. I fixed it and was able to set my own combination. My conclusion is: set the new combination digit by digit…

Precision lock, easy to use

For those who don't know, you don't need to lock your luggage with a lock when you check your bags at the airport, but if you do, you must have a TSA-approved one be lock. These locks usually have a combination that you can set and a keyhole that only TSA agents have the key to. You will not receive a key with a travel lock. This model seems to be the strongest of all the road locks I've used. There is no play in the mechanism like other cheaper locks. Around the outside of the numbered wheels…

Really checks every box for a great lock

Giving 5 stars ('I like it') to a travel lock seems odd - how much can a person 'like' a travel lock? - but this one ticks all the boxes. I wash zippers fairly quickly, mainly because they disappear when not in use (they disappear where my socks are in the dryer, I guess), so I've used a bunch from multiple sources over the past few years. I'll be really sorry if I lose this because it's one of the best I've seen. Here's how it compares to about a dozen others I've used: 1. Durable. This lock…
