I bought this because my Playstation 3 is in storage and I still needed to replace the optical drive on my PC. LG's WH14NS40 is a great buy if you want to rip your 4K Blu-rays to play on Kodi or Plex. Significantly cheaper than official 4k drives (maybe more than double). As usual, unplug the SATA and power cables from the back panel, release the latch built into my case that holds the optical drives in place, slide out the old drive, insert the new drive, close that Reconnect the power and SATA cables and lock the latch .
