Makes a vibrating noise similar to the whirring of a refrigerator compressor. I read reviews and risked it, the idle is too high. The coloring is great and the fan design is great but due to idle noise these things don't work for me, I'll replace them with a Corsair ll.

I ordered black and got silver but they were good and matched Lian Li's pump block and radiator so I kept them. The Lian Li fans handle airflow pretty well, and my Lancool 2 mesh temps were pretty low. I just bought them to keep everything close together. Fans first. They are pretty quiet when idling. Gets louder under load, but that's what fans don't do. They move quite a lot of air and are absolutely stunning. They outperform almost every 120mm fan except triangular fans. If you're interested in looks, Lian Li has actually managed to crush some of the most unique fans out there. Bora Digital are excellent fans. They are really quiet and provide reliable airflow. The quality and construction is noticeably better than the rest. A high quality plastic frame and two metal plates cover the motor and blades. The front and rear panels are milled from one piece of aluminium. These fans look very beautiful. These fans look and feel solid, with aluminum frame, RGB effects are very nice, but DO NOT BUY THESE FANS. Three installed, and a week later, two fans started rattling and stopped working. And they are very noisy even at low speeds.

I bought 4 of these for a liquid cooled system. One of them is used as a direct intake fan and the other three are used to extract air through the upper radiator. These were probably the nicest fans I've ever bought. Aluminum frame, great RGB lighting. However, the only thing they fail at is being a fan. They are good in some orientations but if you place their hub as top exhaust fans you will hear a very noticeable knock/pull sound. I order 2 sets of these fans and all 6 had the same issue.
