This is the third rescue case I have. I really liked the first one for my iPhone 7 as it worked great. The only problem was that the home button cover was cracked. I got a second one and it took a while to get my iPhone XR. The only issue with the second was that there was a gap between the lid and the screen, which caused the touchscreen to overshoot at times unless pressed firmly with fingers. I've had this case on my XR for 9 months and just bought a new one so I can give my old one to my husband. I don't insure my phones, but I don't let them out of a Lifeproof case either. Overall this is a really good bag. I bought this after my iPhone XR's back glass shattered in a face down fall of just over 2 feet while riding in a commuter box. That's right, the FACE DOWN case broke the whole BACK. This case seems to offer excellent protection. It passed the water immersion test.
