These bulbs are hard to find for old dummy chandeliers. The chandelier we're using it on was purchased by the previous owner of our sky in the 1940's. I didn't want to take them off, so these bulbs are needed several times a year.

I needed them for a small accent lamp. They were larger than I expected so I used them in a Tiffany style floor lamp and it works great. My mistake of not checking the size, a year of life was a bonus too.

These luminous lamps emit a soft rainbow light that does not penetrate the room, but simply appears in the bulbs. They are very beautiful in lamps with exposed bulbs or chandeliers. They seem to last quite a long time.

Good lightbulb. If everything works. I often get the "failed" 2-pack I usually buy, but it's a hassle to return when buying online. So I recommend buying them from a local store as you can take them with you and exchange them along with your receipt. I recommend checking all lightbulbs when they arrive so you know ahead of time if you have a marriage.

I have been using this product in our kitchen chandelier for many years with no problems. So far, two bulbs have burned out in 3 days, which is simply unrealistic and totally unacceptable. I'm on my second pack now and one pack needs replacing! Please advise and save burned out bulbs. We have 5 bulbs that are used in this chandelier and I have always used GE and this model to bring all the bulbs together. I wonder if they've been sitting on a store shelf for years because it doesn't make sense,
