Looks suitable for surge protectors

I hope this will never be used. Its purpose is to suppress the energy of a lightning strike using a discharge device in an outdoor TV antenna. You can replace the gas hose and it would be wise to do so if you think the antenna has been damaged. So I bought some spare bulbs. They are well made and provide a connection that needs to be grounded. This is where the megaampere current flows for a short time, that is, if you can make a straight cable out of it into a ground pole. Depending on how…

Pros
  • 4. It is equipped with a replaceable gas discharge element with high shock resistance (gas tube discharge 90V)
Cons
  • Many

Well built but obviously can't test if it works well

Rated only on build quality and type Technology. Well built. feels heavy Of course, I can't judge whether this works. It is advertised as gas discharge, which is GOOD TECHNOLOGY compared to diodes. Replaceable cartridge. Another commenter found a replacement. (Again, how do you know if it needs replacing. I think if you know you've had a strike you can replace it just in case.) This is NOT a scam. This applies to most if not all gas discharge protection devices.

Pros
  • 3. One-piece Lightning Rod Kit F, Nickel plated brass body, Teflon (PTFE) insulator for reliable signal at all times
Cons
  • Safety

Equipment Protection

It's easy to add lightning protection to equipment. Seems well done. Hopefully never know if it works, but just in case.

Pros
  • Surge Protection
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
