Excellent value for money

Redesigned many linear power supplies. I'm glad I bought this. It powers the RPi and the Topping DAC. The device gets warm but never hot. It always works for me and I haven't had any problems. The output voltage is very stable and perfect for my needs, providing affordable audiophile quality tuning.

Disappointed: Power Transformer

I bought this to power my Raspberry Pi 3B+ Audiophonics DAC Volumio Combo. Performance has been described as sufficient for the Pi and there is less noise as a result of the linear performance. Unfortunately, the performance aspect didn't materialize. I still get horrible flashes that pop up constantly with this power supply, while I don't get it with much cheaper switching adapters. upset.

Updated Power Accessory Report

Poor, inferior block. Not only did the shaft register extremely high voltage, but the backplate was poorly installed. So bad it crushed the set screw and made it impossible to turn. return for refund. What a rip off for over $80. Replacement UPDATE: I decided to give this unit another try and so far the replacement is working fine. It fluctuates between 5.1 and 5.12, but I still have to adjust the screw. I use it to power a couple of media converters for my fiber optic LAN. Decided to update my

Helps more than expected!

I added this power supply to my 2 channel music system at home. It drives my DAC. While the DAC sounds great with the factory USB wall jack, adding this made such an amazing difference! More dynamic pressure, a soundstage with more depth and visible space around the instruments, and it's amazingly quiet. If it had high-end branding on it, that would still be a good price at $349. Manufacturers should use this thing for all USB powered DACs and Bluetooth streamers!

Reliable power supply accessory

I bought this power supply to replace a wall wart on my network switch. So far it has proven to be reliable and stable. When receiving, the voltage on the screen is 4.96. I simply adjusted the voltage to 5.02 using the adjustment potentiometer located in the hole on the back. After adjustment, the voltage remained stable. I use this network switch for my music server in my HiFi stereo system. I wanted a stable, quiet power supply. You may be wondering why I added a power supply that is four…

Great for my Raspberry Pi

Great product support! The seller will contact you very quickly. I bought two of these. Dismantled the top cover, the insides are very good. I have Phillips and UCC electrolytic capacitors and am not sure about film caps. Looks like Kemet. Good transformer. I use it with Raspberry Pie 3 and 4. Both have HiFiBerry DAC+ pro. I have used several different base power supplies as well as a battery in the past. It made a big difference! Very happy with it. The Revain B07MPS3QD8 worked well, allowing…

Cleaned up my Raspberry Pi4's audio output when used as a Roon endpoint.

Cleaned up the audio output from my Raspberry Pi4 when used as a Roon endpoint. When I use this regulated power supply on my Pi4 as a Roon endpoint, the audio is crisper, more accurate, and less fluid. . This provided a blacker background and better separation of space between instruments. In general, it softened the sound a bit and made it more velvety (a plus in my opinion). Overall, this was a positive upgrade to my standard Pi4 power supply in my system. Is the price change worth it? Maybe…

Minor Quality Issues 25W HiFi Linear DC PSU did not achieve a perfect rating

A 25W HiFi Linear DC PSU was purchased as an additional PSU for the Topping D50s DAC. The USB Type-A output on the power supply allowed me to use a short USB Type-A to Type-B cable to power the DAC. My first impression was that the power supply feels solid and massive for its size. The detachable IEC power cord allowed me to substitute a shorter cord for my application. A clear plus. The voltage displayed by the power supply matched my Fluke 115 multimeter to within tenths of a volt. However…
