works exactly as described and is one of the first USB (5V) PWM dimmers I have received that does not flicker noticeably at the lowest settings. Lamp power or maybe Lux is a little high. Based on the boost and relative brightness compared to other LED bulbs, this appears to be closer to 4W. However, if the price was a little lower, I would order again without hesitation.

From very dim to a 60 watt bulb, this light is great. Unfortunately most of my batteries don't see a load on the lowest setting and shut down so I have to turn on the lights to keep the battery on, but this is great for camping as there are no batteries to throw away. They work with my GoalZero battery in all settings. During a recent power outage it seemed like we still had power because of these lights. Like an ordinary lamp, pleasing to the eye.

As an emergency light, once your eyes adjust to the level of light, this light will provide adequate lighting for most normal tasks (other than reading fine print) in a large room. Like all these lamps, this one is overrated. My review is dedicated to the model with warm white dimming. Current consumption varies from 30mA at full dimming to around 700mA at full brightness. This lamp knocked out the USB 2.1a connection of this battery with extra large capacity: MAXOAK 177 (12000mAh/14.8V) camcorder V-mount battery camcorder (not for RED series) AND USB connection 1a Dracast 95 Wh professional V-mount battery.
